About Us

Beth Hannon Penny is an experienced executive with a passion for strengthening communities. She holds a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and is a Certified Grant Writer® with American Grant Writers Association. Beth’s core skills include professional development plans, strategic planning, project/program development and administration as well as fundraising through grant writing. Over the last 18 years, she has served in professional roles across the United States and served as a board member for an international NGO for five years. Beth is a subject area expert in professional development, management coaching, K-12 and higher education, youth development, workforce development and social services. She also supports research projects in higher education and evaluation services for programs serving K-12 education. Approach - Why should you work with me? Project and program development services including: *Systems analysis and operations planning, data management, and internal communication for real-time decision making. *Program development for new projects or areas of program service delivery. *Planning for program administration (pre-launch) including training, program tools and management plans. *Equity//Inclusion//Diversity strategies. *Program Administration – Let me provide temporary management assistance while you get your program up and running or to provide interim management assistance as you work to hire or replace program staff. *Communication and partnership systems for external stakeholder engagement. *Data collection, program evaluation planning and using data to drive decision making. *Performance reporting. *Training (virtual, in-person) and coaching plans for staff. *Advising staff new to federal grants administration & how to work with a Technical Advisor. Grant writing services including: *Researching prospective funding opportunities for annual grant calendars. *Launching a grants process with a nonprofit that doesn’t already have one. *Creating/modifying templates for nonprofits with in-house staff or capacity (Letters of Interest, Typical grant narrative sections). *Writing proposals for small, medium and large funding requests, including federal and research grants. *Managing existing grant cycles. *Training staff in grant research, writing, and submissions. *Reviewing or editing services for already developed proposals.
